ABOUT KaLE & Barbell

KALE & BARBELL was born out of a healthy love for vegetables, heavy weights and a desire to set things straight. My name is Sahy and I am a coach, powerlifter and of course, vegan. I started KALE & BARBELL with a mission to transform the way the world views vegans and to help my fellow plant-eating brethren build strong, healthy bodies. The fitness world is rife with misinformation and stereotypes about vegans: we are weak and malnourished, we can’t build muscle, we will never be as strong because we don’t eat meat. We are out to prove that the words “VEGAN” and “WEAK” don’t belong together. Together we will set a new standard of strength that defies expectations.
